The British-Kazakh Society hosted a webinar session chaired by David D Skeels (BKS).

 

The topic of discussion was 'Financial Services in Kazakhstan'.

 

The background information on financial services was given from Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom. Ayan Artykbekov (Director of Financial Organizations Development Department, National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan) gave the View from Kazakhstan. Wayne Evans (Managing Director, International Trade and Investment, TheCityUk) gave the View from the United Kingdom.

 

The webinar was moderated by Rashid Gaissin (Partner, KPMG Kazakhstan, and Central Asia). The speakers were James Martin (CEO, AIFC Business Connect), Tim Bennett (CEO, Astana International Exchange), and Ayuna Nechaeva (Head of Europe, Primary Markets, London Stock Exchange and Chair of the Eurasia Market Advisory Group, TheCityUK).
