BRITISH KAZAKH SOCIETY
TECH & INNOVATION BRIDGE COMMITTEE

OBJECTIVES

We are on a mission to foster collaboration between British and Kazakh business leaders, technology innovators, and investors by sharing best practices, exploring industry trends, and creating opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the tech and innovation sectors.

As a bridge symbolises cross-border collaboration, investment flow, and knowledge exchange, we envision a dynamic cross-border network that drives technological advancement, investment, and knowledge exchange between the UK and Kazakhstan, strengthening economic ties and supporting innovation-led growth.

Our objectives include:

  • Organising topic-led discussions on key industry trends, including digitalisation, fintech, AI, clean energy, cybersecurity, and smart cities.

  • Sharing best practices in technology scaling, innovation ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Promoting investment opportunities in both markets and facilitating strategic partnerships between UK and Kazakh tech companies, corporations, startups, investors, and policymakers.

  • Encouraging skills development and mentorship through knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Why this group is essential:

Kazakhstan’s rising role in Central Asia’s tech landscape and the UK’s established innovation ecosystem present strong synergies for bilateral collaboration. By creating a structured platform, BKTIB will help bridge knowledge gaps, unlock investment opportunities, and drive sustainable growth in both markets.
