BKS hosted the Annual dinner on 23rd January 2025 in the Cholmondely Room, House of Lords to celebrate the ongoing developments in the Bilateral Relationship between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan.

Rupert Goodman OBE DL - Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society, HE Kathy Leach - HM's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, HE Magzhan Ilyassov - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UK, Minister Sayasat Nurbek - Minister of Science and Higher Education, and Mr Chris Allan - Director, Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), addressed the guests with speeches.

Distinguished attendees included Rt Hon Lord Astor of Hever, The Lord Brennan KC, Mr Gani Bekenov, Mr Jonathan Aves - Ex Joint Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Mr Manoj Gunawardena - Air Astana, Country Manager.

Rupert Goodman OBE DL also read a special message to the BKS from The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer KCB KC MP, Prime Minister, and Rt Hon Lord Astor of Hever made concluding remarks.
