KIOGE Conference: BKS Panel Session

British-Kazakh Society has taken part in “Oil and Gas” Conference – KIOGE 2024 with a special panel session on the topic: “De-Methanisation & De-Carbonization; Technology Advances”.
The first part of the session focused on de-methanisation & de-carbonisation issues in Kazakhstan. With this panel we discussed Chevron's experience on methane management, Baker Hughes technology for emission abatement and views on de-carbonisation from KazMunaiGas National Company and Qazaq Green Association.
The second section focused on technology advances in energy sector. During this part we discussed battery storage role in energy transition and options of powering the energy transition.
