Covid19 Rules for Foreign Travellers Arriving to Kazakhstan: - Passengers arriving to Kazakhstan from foreign countries should have a negative PCR test certificate (no more than 3 days should pass from the day the result is issued till the moment of crossing the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
- In the absence of a negative PCR test certificate, passengers, including citizens of Kazakhstan and persons holding residence permits in the Republic of Kazakhstan, will not be allowed on board from the airport of departure.
- Persons who have received a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Kazakhstan upon providing a documentary confirmation, do not need to present a negative PCR test certificate.
- Children under 5 years old do not need to take the test.

News About Kazakhstan / UK: Kazakhstan: Following the July 18 meeting of OPEC ministers, the Kazakh Ministry of Energy announced that Kazakhstan will increase oil production up to 1.491 million barrels per day from August, steadily adding 16,000 barrels each month. (click here). Kazakhstan's capital hosted the third Energy Saving Forum (click here). The deputy Akim (governer) of Almaty reported that the city will attract nearly $2 billion of investment in 2021 (click here). According to official statistics, as of 19 July, 494,222 people have been infected with Covid-19 in Kazakhstan, 431,956 people recovered and 4,997 died. United Kingdom: The light rail sector will receive £56 million financial support from the government to recover from the COVID19 impacts (click here). Education and Skills Funding Agency: Business update (click here). New UK scheme to drive trade with developing countries will aim to grow trade with lower-income nations and support jobs and growth across the world and in the UK (click here).
