BKS hosted the first webinar session and the topic of discussion was "How Britain is using its soft power to engage with Kazakhstan?" The webinar was chaired and moderated by Rupert Goodman (Chairman, BKS). The keynote speakers were Paul Brummell CMG (Head of the Department of Soft Power and External Affairs, Foreign & Commonwealth Office), HE Erlan Idrissov (Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and Rowan Kennedy (Country Director, British Council, Kazakhstan). The webinar-part of the BKS Digital Strategy-was attended by members and guests of the British-Kazakh Society.
